Accessibility statement
Last updated 9 October 2026 · Version 2026-10
We want everyone to be able to use DropDash — drivers in a van on a phone, ops teams at a desk, and anyone using assistive technology.
1. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across our website, driver app and company portal. As a private company we are not covered by the public sector accessibility regulations, but we follow the same standard because the Equality Act 2010 requires us to make reasonable adjustments, and because it makes the service better for everyone.
2. What you should be able to do
- zoom in up to 400% without content being cut off, and use the site on small screens;
- navigate with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- use a screen reader on recent versions of iOS VoiceOver, Android TalkBack and NVDA;
- use large touch targets in the driver app, designed for use with gloves or in a moving environment (while parked);
- read text with sufficient colour contrast, with information never conveyed by colour alone.
3. Known limitations
- Some uploaded documents, such as PDFs supplied by drivers or clients, may not be accessible.
- Photo capture and signature fields in the driver app rely on the camera or a touch screen; we offer alternatives on request.
- Location-verified check-in needs location services; if you can’t use them, contact us and we will arrange another way to confirm attendance.
- Some decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers because they contain only example data.
We are working to fix these and will update this statement as we do.
4. Feedback and help
If you find something you can’t use, or need information in a different format, email office@dropdash.co.uk with “Accessibility” in the subject line, call 07312 799449, or use our contact form. We will reply within 5 working days. If you can complete enrolment only with support, we’ll help you by phone.
If you are not happy with our response, you can use our complaints procedure, or contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
5. How we test
We check new features with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard and screen reader testing before release. This statement was prepared on 9 October 2026 and will be reviewed at least once a year.
This document is a working draft prepared for review by a qualified solicitor and may change before it is finalised. If anything here is unclear, please contact us.
