How it works

From job post to invoice.

One platform for your ops team, our compliance team and the drivers — so everyone is working from the same record.

  1. 01

    Post jobs

Depot, date, start time, vehicle type, drivers needed, any DBS requirement and your rate per unit.
  2. 02

    We allocate

We confirm vetted drivers whose documents are valid on the day. You see who's coming and their vehicle.
  3. 03

    Live check-ins

Watch drivers check in at your depot — location-verified, with a fitness declaration and walkaround.
  4. 04

    Digital EOD

Counts, failed reasons, POD and manifest photos. Approve or adjust, with optional supervisor sign-off.
  5. 05

    One invoice

Approved work goes onto one consolidated invoice per billing period. VAT shown clearly.

Compliance & due diligence

Your supply chain, documented.

The rules changed on 1 October 2026. Right to work checks now reach individual subcontractors and online matching services, and liability can follow the contractual chain. We built DropDash around that.

  • Right to work, every driver

Home Office online check, certified digital ID or manual document check — method, date, checker and expiry recorded. Substitutes are checked too, before they start.

  • Insurance verified

Hire and reward motor, goods in transit and public liability certificates checked against the named vehicle. Allocation is blocked automatically when cover expires.

  • Licence & vehicle

DVLA licence check for categories and endorsements, MOT and tax status, and basic DBS where your contract requires it.

  • Full audit trail

Who checked what and when, every allocation, check-in and approval. Evidence available to you on request for drivers we've supplied.

You only see what you need: each driver’s name, photo, vehicle and verification status. Identity documents, bank and National Insurance details stay with us. See our client terms and privacy notice.

Pricing

A rate per unit. Nothing hidden.

You agree a rate for the work — per parcel, per drop, per collection, per hour, per mile, per day or a fixed price per job. That rate covers the driver, vetting, the platform and our support.

  • No subscription or set-up feeYou pay for approved work, nothing else.
  • Billed on approved reportsOnly counts you've approved (or that are deemed approved after 48 hours) are invoiced.
  • VAT at 20%Shown separately on every invoice. Payment terms are 14 days unless agreed otherwise.
  • Short-notice cancellationsCancellation charges apply only as set out in the client terms, so drivers aren't left out of pocket.

Company FAQ

Before you sign up

Who is responsible for right to work checks?

From 1 October 2026, right to work checks extend to individual subcontractors in labour-supply chains and to online matching services, with liability that can run along the chain. We carry out and record a compliant check on every driver — and any substitute — before they can be allocated, and schedule follow-up checks before time-limited permission expires.

On request we provide evidence of the check for drivers supplied to you, so you can show your own due diligence.

Are the drivers employed by DropDash?
Most drivers are self-employed contractors engaged by DropDash and supplied to you. They can accept or decline work and use their own vehicles. Please don't manage them as employees — for example, through disciplinary processes — as that can affect their status. Tell us about any concern and we'll deal with it.
What if a report is wrong?
You can adjust counts or dispute a report within 48 hours of submission, with a reason. Our team reviews the photos, check-in and check-out data and resolves it before anything is invoiced.
Can we take a driver on directly?
Yes, with notice. Our client terms explain the options — including an extended period of supply instead of a transfer fee — in line with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
